As part of the iomart Group, we are proud to state that we directly own and manage our own data centre estate – we do not rely on any third party to deliver any core components of our service for us. When we say "our data centres" – we genuinely mean it and that is a very rare thing in today’s hosting market place.

By using us for hosting services you are guaranteeing that your data remains within the boundaries of the UK and is totally secure and protected. We are one of only a handful of UK service providers to have every one of our facilities certified to ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standards.

London Hosting Centre

We currently have 5 data centres, offering over 4,850 square metres of quality data centre space, situated in the City of London, Maidenhead, Glasgow, Nottingham & Leicester.

Both our datacentres boasts an impressive list of features, including :

External connectivity is provided via numerous BGP feeds with various providers, ensuring complete redundancy across hardware and connectivity provider. Between our datacentre suites we have private diverse (redundant) fibers currently providing 20Gbps of bandwidth.

Internal connectivity consists of redundant core switches connected to cabinet member switches via fiber (redundant where possible) to provide both high performance and resilience. All equipment is connected via CISCO enterprise kit, located in high quality APC racks.

We are able to offer customer specific VLANs, trunked between datacentres for high performance, resilient offsite backups. We have full redundancy so in the event of a router or provider failure the network traffic is automatically redirected.
